At TicketRoot, a product of Root ID Private Limited, we operate as a technology enabler providing event registration, ticketing, check-in, cashless payment systems, and other event-tech solutions. We do not organize or host events. As such, any refunds or cancellations are solely governed by the policies of the respective event organizer. TicketRoot is not liable for any claims related to cancellations, no-shows, postponements, or event content.
2. No Refunds by TicketRoot
- All ticket sales and registrations processed through the TicketRoot platform are considered final and non-refundable.
- We do not entertain cancellation or refund requests from end users unless the event organizer has explicitly authorized such exceptions.
3. Organizer-Defined Exceptions
- Some event organizers may choose to offer refunds under specific circumstances.
- In such cases, the refund terms will be clearly stated on the respective event page.
- Users are advised to read the event-specific terms before completing a transaction.
4. Digital Goods and Event Wallets
- Any digital products or services (e.g., event apps, downloadable materials, cashless wallet top-ups) are non-refundable.
- For our cashless payment module, any top-ups made to the in-event digital wallet are only valid for the duration of the event.
- Refunds for unused wallet balance, if permitted, must be initiated and processed by the event organizer.
5. Event Postponement or Cancellation
- In the event of a postponement or cancellation by the organizer:
- The organizer is responsible for issuing refunds, rescheduling, or alternate options.
- TicketRoot will assist with the technical execution (e.g., reactivating links, processing approved refunds) but is not liable for the financial outcome.
6. Failure to Attend
- No refunds or credits will be issued for failure to attend an event due to:
- Travel delays
- Personal illness
- Scheduling conflicts
- Other circumstances beyond TicketRoot’s control
7. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
- Any chargebacks initiated without following the proper organizer dispute process may result in a blacklisting of the user account from future TicketRoot-powered events.
8. Contacting Organizers for Refunds
- All refund or cancellation requests must be directed to the event organizer.
- TicketRoot will not respond to refund requests sent directly to our support team unless we are acting as the ticketing partner with explicit refund authority.
9. Modification of This Policy
- Root ID Private Limited reserves the right to update or modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time.
- Changes will be posted on the Website and will be effective immediately.
