Tira’s K Beauty Festival was executed across Mumbai in November 2025 and Chandigarh in March 2026 using a single system for event registration, ticketing, QR check ins, cashless payments and attendee tracking.
This case study is relevant for teams evaluating an event registration and ticketing system for festivals, mall activations and brand events that require registration, entry management and payments to work together.
Across both events, TicketRoot supported event registration, ticketing, attendee check ins, wristband and badge issuance, attendee access control, vendor transactions and event level tracking.

Each attendee registered once and moved through a consistent entry flow. Entry conditions changed during the event without affecting the flow at the gate.
Between 5 PM and 8 PM, more than 4,000 attendees checked in. Across four days, more than 10,000 scans were processed.
Distributed booking links allowed attendees to complete event registration and ticket purchases before reaching the entry. This reduced queue buildup during peak check in hours.
Paid tickets included a beauty passport. Each passport was labelled with a unique code and the attendee’s name at purchase. This enabled participation in booths, activities and prize claims. Free visitors accessed the event independently.
This part of the setup is relevant for organisers looking for a QR check in system for events where audience types and entry models change during the event.

Chandigarh Cashless Payments for Events Using QR Wristband Payment System
The Chandigarh edition took place in March 2026 at Elante Mall and extended the same setup into payments, access and engagement.
TicketRoot supported:
- Pre sale ticketing including single, double and group tickets
- Early bird pricing
- QR check ins
- Wristband issuance at entry
- UTM tracking for ticket sales
- Cashless payments for food, games and activity booths
- Attendee access control inside the Tira zone
- Activity tracking across premium experiences
Each attendee was registered and issued a QR wristband at entry. The wristband functioned as an identity layer, access tool and payment method.

Cashless Payments for Events Using QR Wristband Wallets
The QR wristband functioned as an event wristband payment system.
Attendees topped up balance at counters and used wristbands to make payments across the festival. This created a working model of QR wristband cashless payments.
Payments were enabled across:
- 8 food counters
- 20 activity and game booths
- Additional access points within the festival
A total of 35 vendors were enabled with mobile POS systems connected to TicketRoot.
For teams comparing cashless payments for events, this setup shows how payments, access and participation can be connected within one system.
TicketRoot
Zone Access Control and Activity Tracking
The event included a restricted Tira zone.
Attendees purchased access inside the event. Each purchase allowed participation in four activities. Each activity was validated through scanning at the booth level. This also worked as an example of event access control for festivals, where entry into specific zones and activities is managed through a structured system.

Attendee Tracking, Event Data and Brand Engagement
Across both events, attendee interactions were tracked through one system:
- Event registration data
- Ticketing data
- Check in data
- Transaction data
- Activity participation data
- Zone access data
This provided a structured view of attendance, participation and transactions.
The format also supported engagement with Korean beauty brands inside the mall environment. After the event, this structure allowed organisers to review behaviour and participation and extend those learnings into CRM workflows.
This is relevant for teams evaluating attendee tracking for brand events across entry, payments and engagement.

What Changed Between the Two Events
The Mumbai event focused on managing multiple entry models within a live environment.
The Chandigarh event extended the same system across:
- Ticketing and wristband issuance
- Cashless payments across vendors
- Access control within zones
- Activity tracking and redemption
- Attribution through ticketing channels
This created a connected structure where entry, transactions and engagement were managed within one system.

These events often require:
- Event registration and ticketing
- QR check ins
- Wristband based access
- Cashless payments for events
- Attendee tracking
